Though it has remained relatively dry over the last few days, a spell of heavy rain is set to arrive in our shores today, bringing significant levels of rainfall.
It will be rather breezy and overcast today, with scattered outbreaks of rain, becoming more persistent along the south coast.
Temperatures will hover between 10 and 12C though, rather mild for this time of year.
The outlook for the coming weekend is for predominantly wet weather all around.
