Finally, it appears that the Katy O’Brien Fair City storyline is come to a close.
Fair City fans have been asking all week “when will the Katie O’Brien abduction storyline ever end?” and now it appears that theirs and Katy’s prayers have been answered.
Katy’s abductor, Ciaran, seems to have completely lost the plot (excuse the pun) and it referring to Katy as his sister. He “saved her life” in last night’s episode but Katy was unaware that she was in danger because of Ciaran in the first place.
Both actors very good and their respective roles – but boy oh boy is it getting boring to watch.
Rumours are rife that the producers are finally going to axe the dark storyline on Easter Sunday with Katy finally being freed at the end of the episode – but she will be in a completely different mindset. We’ll wait and see!
