British actor Alfie Curtis, who starred in Star Wars and The Elephant Man, has passed away aged 87.
Born in London, Curtis is perhaps best known for portraying Cornelius Evazan, the facially-disfigured character that harasses and then tries to kill Luke Skywalker during the iconic scene inside the cantina at Mos Eisley.
The character’s on-screen time was brief, but his lines ‘You just watch yourself. I have the death sentence on 12 systems‘ have become part of the standard Star Wars lore.
Curtis also starred in David Lynch’s The Elephant Man, and in many British TV shows.
The cause of death has not been revealed.
