According to latest figures last Friday’s The Late Toy Show was the most-watched programme on Irish television this year, after an audience of 1.4 million people tuned in to watch the pre-Christmas extravaganza.
The statistics also show that the Late Toy Show was watched in 102 countries, with streaming of The Late Late Toy Show increasing by 63% on last year, with viewers from the Cayman Islands, to Nepal.
The show also had a major audience in the UK, US, Australia, Spain and Canada.
Meanwhile speaking about the large audience host Ryan Tubridy said he was “really happy to see that people appreciated it in such tremendous numbers”.
