Storm Ali has tragically claimed its second victim as man aged in his 20s was killed by a falling tree on the Co Down/Armagh border.
It is also understood that another man aged in his 40s was injured in the incident which occurred at Slieve Gullion Park, near Newry earlier this afternoon.
According to RTÉ News, the men were hit by the tree when they were carrying out repair work for Northern Ireland Water.
It is believed the young man was killed instantly whilst the other man was taken to hospital with injuries.
Police say the incident is being investigated by the Health Safety Executive.
