Storm Doris lived up to its expectations last night.
The ESB claim up to 56,000 households are without power this morning after winds of 110/klm pummeled the country.
Met Eireann said strong winds would be at their highest at 4-5am, and if like so many commenting today, you were one of them who woke up, you’d have heard yourself of the impact Storm Doris had.
The ESB are currently working on getting at least 35,000 homes back up with power today, but they have said many homes will be without power for the night again tonight.
