Storm Doris has managed to upend bins and garden furniture, but when this lorry was driving across the M1 motorway bridge this morning heading north, the storm even knocked it.
As motorists made their way down the busy motorway towards the toll bridge, they were met with the opposite side of the road, the north facing side, closed as emergency workers worked hard to clear the debris from the crash.
The lorry driver is said to have lost control of the truck around 7am but it’s believed no one was injured in the incident.
Winds are said to die down from 5pm onwards.
