Storm Fionn rages on today, as the national forecasters has predicted further snowfalls and a drop in temperatures.
The storm has so far caused widespread disruption to travel, leading to cancellation of some ferry and bus services. Some delays were also reported to flights operating around Dublin Airport overnight.
The overall forecast is for cold, unsettled weather to continue until Friday at least.
Three weather warning remain in place across the country.
