Storm Ophelia may have battered most of the country on Monday wreaking havoc ans destruction within its path, but it seems the powerful storm is not done with Ireland just yet as the North West of the county is still experience high winds.
Met Eireann say a red alert weather warning will remain in place throughout the night, although most parts are set experience calmer conditions.
However the national forecaster has said the North West will still see high winds over night.
The warning comes as a wind speed of 102kp/h was recorded at Malin Head in Co Donegal in the past hour.
