It really is about time – summer finally appears to be about to say hello after what can only be described as one of the worst winters in living memory.
According to Met Eireann, a mass of air from Africa is on its way north, and it’s set to reach Ireland by Monday morning. Forecasters predict that temperatures may soar to 27C over the next seven days.
Monday is expected to be rather unsettled, but the thermometer will rise steadily as the week goes on.
So get the sunglasses dusted off – you’re going to need them by midweek!
