It may be the middle of May and although it is technically summer, it certainly doesn’t feel like it as we are still pulling out the overcoat to shield ourselves from Ireland’s ever changing weather conditions.

Well if you happen to be longing for more summer sun you may be happy to hear that forecasters are predicting sizzling hot weather conditions later this month and in the early part of June.

According to Exacta Weather forecaster James Madden, both Ireland and the UK could very well see temperatures rising to the high 20s and low 30s by the end of May.

Speaking to The Express newspaper, Mr Madden said it is very plausible that temperatures could significantly rise given the current weather charts.

The forecaster who has had a number of predictions over the years, also told the paper that he expected a very warm June Bank Holiday weekend, with temperatures reaching the high 20s, and that spell could last for a number of days.

Meanwhile forecasters are also predicting a sharp change in the coming days as temperatures are expected to be in the low 20s next week.
