Glorious sunshine and pleasant temperatures were predominant over the long weekend, and it seems we’ll still enjoy another couple of days of fine weather.
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach up to 18C in places over the next couple of days, though the nights will be cold and misty.
A band of showery rain is forecast to cross Ireland by Friday evening then, bringing an end to the current spell of fine weather. Next weekend is expected to be wet and windy, so enjoy the sun while it lasts.
