The Coalition seems to be on a fast road to nowhere, as the latest opinion poll shows that support for both Fine Gael and Labour has taken a marked tumble.
Popular support for Fine Gael has fallen two points and now stands at 30%, while Labour has sunk to a paltry 6%.
The news will hit the Government specially hard now that the election is looming ever closer, and both Enda Kenny and Joan Burton are likely to lose sleep about the steep decline.
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin remains unchanged on 19%, and independents and smaller parties are also unchanged on 23%.
