The man behind the attack that killed 10 people and left 16 others injured in Toronto, Canada has been charged by authorities.
Alek Minassian 25, has officially appeared before court charged with 10 counts of murder and 13 counts of attempted murder following the attack on Yonge Street and Finch Avenue.
Mr Minassian who was arrested on Monday following the attack, did not enter a plea at the hearing which was held on Tuesday morning.
The accused was asked to give his full details including his name and address before the court, Minassian was also refused bail and ordered to appear in court on May 10th.
Meanwhile authorities investigating the incident say they are still trying to determine the motive for the attack.
