A suspicious package prompted the evacuation of the Christmas market in the German city of Potsdam earlier today.
The package in question was reportedly delivered to a local pharmacy. An employee opened it, only to discover that it contained wires, nails, and an unidentified powdered substance.
The discovery prompted the evacuation of several buildings and a nearby Christmas market.
German police could not confirm whether the device was genuine or an elaborate hoax.
