The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar have called on management and union chiefs representing staff at Irish Rail to re-enter negotiations.
Mr Varadkar’s call comes after there was yet another day of stoppages today which affected over 150,000 commuters.
The Taoiseach advised all parties to reconvene at the Labour Relations Commission and hold further talks in order to come to an agreement.
Mr Varadkar also said both parties need to use all state amenities available such as the Labour Court.
He added such organisations have been purposely set to settle such disputes.
