Taoiseach shows utter contempt for medical personnel by saying they shouldn’t take extended Christmas leave

Leo Varadkar has made many people sick with some of his comments in the past, but his latest have turned off even some of his own supporters.

The Taoiseach has claimed that people working in the medical profession should not take an extended Christmas holiday in order to alleviate the current overcrowding crisis at the nations hospitals.

Mr Varadkar who was responding to questioning by Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin over the current bed shortage, claimed that the nations hospitals effectively close down over the two Christmas period.

Needless to say Varadkar’s comments have been met with utter dismay far and wide with some social media users going so far as to call for his resignation.
