A British teenager has tragically sadly died after falling a great height whilst trying to take a selfie at a popular Australian tourist spot.
According to Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, the 18 year old sadly lost his life after he fell 10 metres of 32.8ft at Cape Solander.
It is believed the teenager was taking selfies at the spot which is known to be a whale watching spot. The paper say he was on slippery rocks before he fell.
Although a coast guard helicopter located the young man following an emergency call, he was sadly pronounced dead by paramedics who desperately tried to revive him on land.
Police investigating the incident say they are treating the boy’s death as a freak accident.
