The weather has been rather unsettled for the past few days, with heavy downpours blighting the land.
The latest forecast however says that things may take a turn for the better of the next 72 hours, as hot weather appears to be on its way.
Early predictions indicate that temperatures may reach 28C over the August Bank Holiday as high pressure appears to be building up just off the southern coast of Ireland.
