A knife-wielding terrorist stabbed a senior police officer to death outside his home in Magnanville, a suburb around 50klm north of Paris.
The Islamic terrorist announced to authorities he was part of ISIS and that the murders were in the name of the Islamic State.
The terrorist murdered the policeman outside his home, then broke in and murdered a woman whom authorities are speculating was his wife.
They found a 3-yr-old thankfully unharmed in a room upstairs in the property.
French officials said anti-terrorism prosecutors were investigating the attack.
The Islamic State’s Amaq news agency cited an unnamed “source” as saying an IS fighter carried out the attack.
This horrific attack comes in the midst of Europe’s biggest football event. With all eyes on the various stadiums housing the football, more lone-wolf attacks like this are feared in locations that aren’t standing out to authorities.
A terror alert has been raised to red-alert once more in France, the highest level it’s been since the horrific attacks in Paris last November.
