Gardai have released a man who was arrested in Wexford due to suspected links with the London attackers.
The man had been apprehended on foot of some documentation that allegedly linked him with Rachid Redouane, one of the perpetrators of Saturday’s terrorist attack on London Bridge.
Seven people died, and 48 were injured -many of them seriously- during a rampage that saw three attackers first mow people down using a van before jumping out and stabbing passers-by.
The man has now been released without charge. Gardai confirmed a file will be prepared for the DPP.
