The freezing temperatures that brought snow and ice to the country this St. Patrick’s Day weekend are set to linger and may even bring a white Easter.
Though temperatures will rise during the middle of this week due to warmed south-easterly wind bitterly cold temperatures will again approach from the east in the days leading up to Easter.
Britain will experience the temperature drop first before Ireland is once again plunged into frost and cold, although any snowfall will not be as severe and heavy as the original “beast from the east” that brought chaos to the country at the start of this month.
Meteorologists have assured the public however, that eventually Spring will be sprung.
