The Boss Might Be Back: Rumours circulating that Bruce Springsteen could be playing Croke Park concerts after he confirms Lisbon date




The Boss Bruce Springsteen maybe at the beginning of a mammoth U.S. tour which is due to finish this spring, but he maybe on his way back to Ireland if rumours are to believed.

The news of Springsteen’s expected Irish concert comes after the ‘Born in the USA’ singer revealed plans to embark on a European tour starting in Lisbon. Springsteen’s hugely successful ‘The River Tour’ in the US, has prompted speculation this side of the pond that the legendary singer has full intentions in gracing the European stage once again with Dublin firmly placed on his tour destinations.

The latest tour in U.S. has received largely positive reviews, and sees the legendary Springsteen play his seminal 1980 double album in its entirety. The setlists has reportedly seen springsteen play for almost three and a half hours with over 30 songs performed on stage.

Reports say the US leg of ‘The River Tour’ is due to finish on April 25 in New York, and Springsteen has confirmed that he will be playing the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon on May 19. That news has prompted Irish fans to speculate that the boss could play two Croke Park dates later this year.

Springsteen last played three gigs in Ireland in 2013 when he played in Cork, Kilkenny and Belfast.
