Hundreds of girls in Ireland and thousands worldwide have experienced serious health problems after receiving the vaccine with governments in some countries, such as Japan, pulling their recommendation for citizens to take the jab. Bishop Phonsie Cullinan claims that parents are being pressured into allowing their daughters to get the vaccine.

However, Bishop Cullinan has also questioned whether girls getting the vaccine may be encouraged to be sexually promiscuous, having the false perception that the inoculation will protect them against a broad spectrum of STD’s.

Bishop Cullinan has also called for more serious attention to be payed to those allegedly hurt by the HPV vaccine and their advocacy group ‘Regret’. He said on TV3 that regular smear tests are much safer and far better at preventing cancer than the HPV vaccine.
