According to reports in the UK former convicted drugs mule Michaela McCollum has been given the opportunity to host a new TV show that will focus on crime.
McCollum who was released from prison last March after serving a three year sentence for drug smuggling in Peru, will apparently front a new series that will focus on inner city crime throughout the UK.
The Co Tyrone native who came to the world’s attention after being caught along with Melissa Reid trying to smuggle €1.5m worth of coacaine out of the South American country to Spain, has already had a number of interviews with TV supremo’s to host the series which is expected to air later this year.
A number of media outlets in the UK have also claimed that she has already begun filming in Liverpool and has even held a number interviews with people connected with the criminal underworld regarding the escalating drug problem within the city.
Meanwhile the TV appeareance opportunities doesn’t end there for the 24 year old as she has also reportedly held talks with Channel 5 bosses regarding an appearance in the next edition of Big Brother which will be a special themed ‘pairs edition’.
