After millions of wasted taxpayer money, mass popular revolts, and a few more millions thrown to consultants for good measure, the failed utility that is Irish Water is finally ready to issue refunds to those who foolishly paid.
Irish Water, now with its liquid tail firmly entrenched in between its legs, is about to pay back between €200 and €325 to nearly one million people.
