Little Mia’s face says it all – she’s delighted with the news on last night’s Late Late Toy Show that Aer Lingus is sending herself and her family to Legoland in Florida for a magnificent holiday.
The little girl is just one of many who unfortunately, for one reason for another, haven’t a home to call their own.
Mia is currently living in a bedroom with her brother and cousin, along with many more family members in the same house.
Toy Show host Ryan Tubridy put strong emphasis on Mia’s story to show the plight that homelessness is particularly having on our young people.
Tragically in Ireland, there’s said to be over 8,000 people who have no formal home address.
