The Identity of Brave Emma Murphy’s abusive partner is revealed, but he claims he is not a violent person

According to various reports the identity of the the man who allegedly and disgracefully assaulted his girlfriend Emma Murphy has been revealed. Emma (26) has been in the news this week as she bravely highlighted the suffering of people who are victims of domestic violence, Emma has received great praise and sympathy after she summoned up the courage to post a video of herself after she was allegedly beaten by her partner on Facebook.

It is understood that the man at the centre of the serious assault has been identified as Francis Usanga aged 28 a bodybuilder and actor who has openly admitted that he pushed the young mother of two but has strongly denied that he punched her.

Mr Usanga made his claims whilst speaking to the Irish Sun, Usanga, has repeatedly claimed that he only pushed Emma but he did not punch her. Mr Usanga claims that Emma received her bruised eye as a result of her falling over after the incident.

The gym owner said: “Yes I did push her. I pushed her, I didn’t punch her. It was just the force. “I did sleep with someone else. But I did not punch and I absolutely did not split her head open. “I know nobody will believe me but I am not a violent person. I never, ever want to hurt anyone”.

The tragic incident has gone viral with Emma receiving great support for taking a stand against her abuse from groups setup to deal with domestic violence worldwide. The video shows the young mother of two young children badly beaten and her speaking of her ordeal, In the video Emma also make a series of claims that Mr Usanga punched her in the face after she confronted him about cheating on her.

After much deliberation Emma decided to post the video to highlight what Usanga had done to her. The heartbreaking video shows Emma sitting on the stairway of house tearfully telling people how Usanga was the love of her life, but she could never go back to him again following the alleged incident.

Mr Usanga is understood to be a well known throughout the fitness community in Dublin, and has appeared as a fitness expert on RTE’s afternoon programme called ‘Today’.
