A British MP has hit out Ireland over the current Brexit negotiations saying the Irish should know their place.
In yet another attack against the Irish Government the unnamed MP claimed that the Irish government shouldn’t be shaping the current Brexit negotiation process.
According to BBC News, the MP in question has said he is flabbergasted at how the Republic of Ireland has been influential in the EU’s negotiating tactics.
He also said that the Irish shouldn’t be allowed to treat the UK like this and put us (UK) under so much pressure.
It is believed the Conservative MP’s comments comes as the British PM Theresa May is looking for a solution to the controversial Irish backstop problem which would prevent a hard border on the island of Ireland.
