The Prodigal Son returns: Ibrahim Halawa is back in Ireland, after four years of incarceration in Egypt

Ireland’s favorite Prodigal Son, Ibrahim Halawa, is now back on home soil, after spending four years in an Egyptian jail.

Halawa was rounded up near Tahir Square in Cairo back in 2013. His trial was postponed multiple times, but was recently acquitted of any wrongdoing.

He is now back in Ireland, enjoying a longed for lust for freedom.
