For many of us a long flight can be quite boring with little or no entertainment on board which makes the routine trip seem a lot longer than it should do.
However for the people of one Ryanair flight the in-flight entertainment became a lot more musical than it should have been after a French accordion player entertained his fellow passengers with a rendition of the Pogues all time classic ‘Dirty Old Town’.
The rather lively performance which occurred after the onboard staff requested a tune from the more than willing Frenchman, has since become something of a viral hit after a video was uploaded on Facebook by Pure Magic Watersports.
The feel good video has gone on to receive much support from people across Ireland and the world with many referring it to be the much more acceptable disruption one can be a part of during a long flight, rather than the unsavoury scenes on board a recent American Airlines flight.
Although it has not been the first time a musical performance has taken place on board a flight with Kodaline performing a set for their adoring fans a number of years ago, the video has been praised for its camaraderie amongst fellow passengers with it being shared over 10,000 times.
