Although the Rising actually took place on Easter Monday, and there will commemoration events held today, yesterday is when the world took notice at what we did.

The BBC, Sky News and even Fox News all reported on our events and gave tremendous coverage to our marking of the anniversary of the rising.

The celebrations today will see plays on the streets, and a commemoration at Dublin castle with the national museums expected to be very busy throughout the day.
