Social media users have vented their anger and utter disgust at what one user claims is “the worst broadband provider” in the country.
Thousands of Eir customers were left without access to the internet after the Eir broadband went down yesterday afternoon.
Counties affected included Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Louth, Wicklow, Meath, Cavan, Cork, Sligo, Mayo, Donegal and the midlands.
It’s understood that it’s a DNS problem and took around 12 hours to resolve. No doubt this will have a very adverse effect to Eir’s customer base both present and potential customers who see so many people giving out about the service they’re receiving from Eir’s broadband.
