A woman sleeping in a tent has become the third person to die in homelessness in Ireland this week.
The woman, named locally as Jenny Dennehy, was found in an unresponsive state inside the tent she was sleeping in Gillabey Park, Cork. She was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.
Gardai confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Ms. Dennehy, who was aged in her 30s, has become the third homeless person to die in the streets of Ireland this week, as the Government looks on impassively.
