Thousands turn out around the world to mark the 121st anniversary of St. Therese’s death




Thousands of people around the world turned out to masses and services to mark the 121st anniversary of the death of St Therese of Lisieux.

St Therese is one of the most celebrated Saints in the world having performed many miracles through her “Little Way”.

St Therese died in Lisieux, France aged 24 after becoming a nun at just 15 years old. She was kind, generous and head strong – having met with the Pope himself in order to become a nun in the first place.

Yesterday, people around the world venerated relics of St Therese and prayed to the “Little Flower”. St Theresa is recognised by countless people as having performed miracles for them and helped them in innumerable ways.
