Police in the UK have confirmed that three men have been arrested in connection with an acid attack on a 3 year old boy over the weekend.
In an announcement Mercia police confirmed that the the three men have been arrested and at currently being questioned about the attack which seen the young boy recieve facial and arm burns.
The sickening attack which occurred in Worcester on Saturday afternoon is being treated as a deliberate attack by officers.
Although the infant is recovering at home it is believed the acid like substance was thrown at him whilst he was sitting in a push chair in a busy shopping centre.
Police say the three men all aged 22, 25 and 26 have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
It is expected that the men will be questioned by police for number of hours before they are either charged or released.
