Three of the country’s leading Children’s Hospital’s have issued a statement this morning to parents warning them of increased waiting times at their emergency departments.
The waring comes after management at Temple Street, Crumlin Children’s Hospital and the children’s hospital in Tallaght issued a joint statement outlining the current overcrowding crisis after a recent influx of patients with respiratory infections.
The group representing all three hospital’s are advising parents to contact their GP or doctor on call before attending either hospital.
