Three people injured in hit-and-run incident in Louth





Three people sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car that mounted the pavement in Louth earlier today.

The incident happened in the town of Ardee, just after 1am.

The three people were struck by a Silver Vauxhall Vectra, which was later found abandoned. Their injuries, while serious, are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardai are asking witnesses to contact Ardee Garda Station on 041-687 1134, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
