Three people had to be airlifted and taken to hospital after they got into difficulty whilst kayaking in Co Wicklow yesterday.
The Dublin Coastguard Helicopter and members of the Wicklow Mountain Rescue received a call to assist in the rescue. It is understood a group of kayakers got into difficulty on Lough Dan.
Three kayakers were rushed to Tallaght Hospital for treatment. Their condition is not yet known.
