Tired of getting chatted up at work – British pub creates humorous sign to stop men chatting up female staff

We all know working a full time job can be particularly tiring and for those working in the retail sector including bars, shops and clubs, dealing with customers can be more of an effort than people realise, but if you happen to be a barman or barwoman in particular, your job can be a bit more difficult given the fact you may get chatted up more often than not.

The endless barrage of chat up lines can be all the more frustrating especially when you are trying to make it through the working day. Well now it seems that hassle could become a thing of the past after one popular bar in the UK has created a sign that will surely put a stop to the pickup lines once and for all.

The bar which has become a vital hit in recent days, the Beer Cellar in Devon, UK, has been praised by many from far and wide after they created the rather humorous but direct sign pictured below.

The sign which is the creation of Chuck Mullin, was made for such circumstances after she worked in retail for nearly six years.

Sharing the photo on Twitter, the Beer Cellar wrote: “This is definitely our favourite sign in the bar. Also if dudes could stop trying to kiss our female bartender’s hands that would be great.”

There you have to ladies and gents this could be the sign that could help you get through your working day in peace.
