A young toddler is recovering in hospital this morning after reportedly severing part of a their finger in an accident.
The infant, understood to be about 12 months old, apparently suffered the injury at the family home near Ennis, Co Clare.
Reports say the young child was airlifted to University Hospital Galway by the Emergency Aeromedical Service (EAS) shortly after 4pm yesterday afternoon.
