One person has been killed, and at least 14 others were injured, after a lone gunman opened fire in downtown Toronto overnight.
One of the wounded, a young female, remains in a critical condition.
Police officers responded to the emergency, which happened in the Greektown area of Toronto. It is understood that the gunman exchanged shots with police before killing himself.
The reasons for the shooting are not immediately clear.
