The devastating and despicable news that little baby Charlie Gard has almost been sentenced to a certain death yesterday has sent chills around the world.
Charlie Gard’s parents read out an emotional piece inside and outside the high court in London yesterday afternoon bidding farewell to both their legal challenge to help Charlie get treatment in America and indeed to little Charlie himself.
In the heartbreaking statement the loving parents called their son – their “little warrior”. They also revealed that they now want to spend as much time with him now as possible before he “joins the angels”.
Specialist doctors claim it’s too late for Charlie to receive treatment whilst others say if he had gotten it a number of weeks ago, he would have survived.
It’s has been reported by family friends that the couple have managed to thankfully get their little boy Christened.
