Touching: Newly wedded bride makes sure her late son will never be forgotten by incorporating his photograph into her wedding day photographs

In a truly touching story a bride from the U.S who tragically lost her son five months before her wedding day, has paid tribute to her little boy and made sure he will never be forgotten by including his picture in her wedding photographs.

The bride named Anna Bozman Thompson, and her fiancé Travis from Atlanta sadly lost their son Lake aged 8, last May to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, and they wanted to make sure their young son was a part of their big day by including him in the photo alongside their two younger children. The touching photograph was created by the couple’s friend who is a professional photographer named Brandy Angel, who worked with the couple by photoshoping two separate photographs to incorporate the late Lake into the wedding day picture. The photograph has touched the hearts of many throughout the world after the family set up a Facebook page named ‘Prayers for Lake’ on which they shared the loving image.

The new bride spoke about the idea and her son’s tragic passing to local media reporters, saying: “Somehow I have managed to continue going but there have been many days that I did not think I could. I have honestly been making it minute to minute as grief is a huge roller coaster. My two little ones have been a huge motivation but my main source of motivation is the promise that through Christ I will see my son again and live an eternal life.” “I cling to this every day. Although my family will never be complete here on Earth, we will be in Heaven. I do know that Lake has been watching over us especially when we got married. He made sure that it would be a day that none of us would forget,” An emotional Anna also added: “The pictures turned out beautiful and thanks to my amazing photographer she was able to get some special edits done. I needed this picture more than she or anyone could ever know. This is my family. And we will be together again.”

The new bride also later revealed that she could feel Lake’s presence throughout her whole wedding day, and fully believes her brave son was responsible for the sunny weather that made their day more special. Anna said: “My angel was hard at work once again yesterday.” “The weather and the whole day was just perfect. I honestly felt Lake’s presence there. I know he wanted me and my whole family to enjoy this special day and we did. He made sure of it.”
