There was very foul mouthed exchange in a British courtroom recently between a judge and a racist defendent.
The rather blue and heated exchange of language occurred at Chelmsford Crown Court when judge Patricia Lynch QC sentenced defendant John Hennigan to 18 months in jail for racially abusing a woman from the Caribbean.
Hennigan, a well known racist who has 23 convictions for 47 offences, was handed the sentence after the court heard in depth details of his abuse towards the defendant along with his previous history of racially motivated abuse.
However after the sentence was handed down, Hennigan’s response was far from remorseful and completely undignified as he told the judge that she was “a bit of a cunt”.
Although the rather disgusting form of abuse was unwarranted Hennigan couldn’t have predicted what would happen next as judge responded to defendant by saying: “You’re a bit of a cunt yourself. Being offensive to me doesn’t help.”
Remarkably the backlash of abuse didn’t stop there Hennigan then told the judge to: “Go fuck yourself”. To which she replied: “You too.”
After the heated exchange, Hennigan banged on the glass of his stand, shook his head twice and sang a ditty about gassing Jews. The judge mocked Hennigan’s actions by saying: “We’re all very impressed. Take him down.”
