The British Prime Minister has claimed that President Donald Trump told her to sue the European Unioin over Brexit during the US President’s visit to the UK last week.
May was speaking on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show: “He told me I should sue the EU. Not go into negotiation, sue them.”
She continued: “What the president also said at that press conference was ‘Don’t walk away. Don’t walk away from the negotiations. Then you’re stuck’.”
President Trump said on Friday that May had not taking his advice saying that he could see she found it a little bit tough.
