Tragic news emerged from Australia last evening after it was reported by Australian media that a 30-yr-old Irishman had been stabbed in the neck to death in Sydney.
A fight broke out at 1:20pm Irish time yesterday (12:20am Saturday morning in Australia) in a house with three women two men. One of the men died from the result of a stab wound to the neck.
A man and woman aged 35 and 25 have been arrested in connection with the murder.
The Irishman has been locally as David Walsh from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.
It’s understood he has three daughters.
His family are said to be in contact with the Foreign Office.
