Gardai have confirmed that they are currently investigating the tragic death of a 31-year-old man who is said to have “dropped dead” at the Body & Soul festival yesterday afternoon.
According to The Mirror, a garda spokesman said:
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was removed to Mullingar Hospital where a post-mortem will be scheduled.”
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and he is said to have just collapsed at the event in Ballinlough Castle at 3pm in the Westmeath festival venue.
