A 14 year old boy is in serious condition in hospital this morning after he was involved in a road traffic incident in Co Kildare on Wednesday afternoon.
Gardai say the young teen sustained serious injuries after his bicycle collided with a 4×4 vehicle on a stretch of road between Monasterevin and Oghill.
It is believed the young boy was quickly taken by ambulance to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, where he is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Gardai also say the driver of the 4×4, a man in age his 30s, was uninjured in the incident.
