A motorcyclist (55) died in a collision in Co Mayo.
The man was fatally injured when his motorbike collided with a van at 1.20pm Sunday on the Claremorris to Hollymount road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Mayo General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The van driver was also taken to Mayo General Hospital, but is reported to have received only minor injuries.
